Reconfigure cluster

PATCH

/

Reconfigure cluster by adding or removing brokers, adding more partitions, or changing the replicationFactor. Note that adding partitions is an experimental feature and not fully supported. Only the partition count can be scoped to a physical tenant, with the physicalTenant parameter; without it, the partition count of the default physical tenant is changed. Partitions are distributed across brokers considering every physical tenant's partitions at once, so that scaling one tenant does not overload brokers already busy with another tenant's partitions; as a consequence, it can also relocate partitions of the tenants that are not being scaled. The broker count (or the brokers to add/remove) changes cluster membership, and the replication factor is a cluster-wide setting; neither has a tenant to scope it to, so neither may be combined with physicalTenant.
